Conronavirus (Covid-19) Update 5 January 2021

To protect our members and staff, we closed our offices and collection points until further notice. Many of our volunteers are working from home to maintain our service. This seems to be working well with withdrawals and loans still being processed.

Following the Government announcement on 4 January of a new lockdown we have had to again close our Nora Street collection with immediate effect.  Our on line service through email remains.

How to contact us:

The best way is by email at warringtoncreditunion@gmail.com

If you do not have access to email, you can phone and leave a message on 01925 495227.  This is being monitored remotely.  If you leave a message please speak clearly and repeat your contact information.  You would not believe how many messages cannot be clearly heard so we cannot return the call!

 Temporary Financial Relief

Although we are not in scope of the the FCA requirements for banks and other lenders (see the link below), Warrington Credit Union is voluntarily adopting measures to support any of our members who are financially affected by the Covid-19 situation.  If you believe that you are affected please contact us by email at warringtoncreditunion@gmail.com to explain your situation.

(Note: our loans are not those "regulated" by the FCA)."
